A bioregion's worth

If a community fails to make the economic argument for a bioregion's worthbased on values involving te health of the humans and other creatures who live in that zone, then the comunity rolls out a red carpet for corporations and governments that wish to strip nature of what they define as its economic worth.  These interests know exactly how to define their interpretation of value; through the economics of extracton, and, ultimately, destruction.
