Thich Nhat Hahn was born in Vietnam in 1926, began training as a Buddhist monk at age 16, worked to end the Vietnam War, was exiled from this home country because of his views on the war,  helped rescue the "boat people,"became a worldwide spokesperson for peace, was nominated  for the Noble Peace Prize by Martin Luther King Jr., and established Plum Village, a Buddhist retreat in France.  He is the author of many books and poems.  His writings and teaching have brought peace. calmness and acceptance to millions.  Thich Nhat Hahn had a massive stroke in 2014.  This book is a collection of short essays.  In the present turbulent and stressful time (2018) Thich Nhat Hahn can teach you how you can live with equanimity and inner peace as you contribute to peace.
